Our family recently had to relocate from Toronto to Tucson. Because neither my wife nor I were U.S. citizens, nor had our social security numbers yet, the process was very complicated. In addition to these complications, we had the added burden of purchasing our home from a relocation company that was very aggressive in their negotiations.
