Lee Zinzli, Home Buyer
During a six week “first time” stay in Oro Valley we began to take an interest in owning a home in Sun City. We knew little of the community but while renting a home for those six weeks we walked nearly every street in Sun City, meanwhile updating a map on locations we thought held homes we would be interested in. It took several home visits for our realtor to understand our interests, but we slowly narrowed our scope of effort. Not fully understanding the market dynamics, we missed out on two homes despite offering more than the asking price. But time and persistence stood on our side and our realtor was patient with our learning curve. When the right home came up, we all knew it and we acted promptly. It was a win-win situation for the buyer and the seller, and both realtors were in sync with the needs and interests of both the buyer and the seller. That is what selling anything, but especially a home, should be all about — creating dialog in which needs are understood and all parties win at the end.
