Reid Park Zoo
Hours at Reid Park Zoo are 9 to 4 daily except Christmas and Thanksgiving so drop by anytime. There is an admission fee but it is very reasonable and there are discounts for kids and seniors. There is plenty of free parking near the zoo and there are wheelchairs available for a minimal fee at the gift shop.
Usually the best time to visit the Zoo in Tucson is early morning or late afternoon as there are fewer visitors and the animals tend to be a little more active during those times of day. Allow yourself a couple hours to see the zoo and you’ll have plenty of time to see everything. In the summer wear a hat and good walking shoes. Take your sunglasses and some sunscreen and have fun.
The Zoo is also available for Rent, now isn’t that cool. You can rent the entire zoo for your special event or party. Call them at 520-881-4753 for further information and details on this exciting concept.
Remember: Don’t Feed The Animals!
